Foto: Louise Henning (From Nelspruit, South Africa) Good night my love ..... “Louise Henning started an interest in art at the age of 4 when Mom realized that she could not buy enough coloring-in books. After school, followed a long and hectic career in the corporate world, with little opportunity to paint. Only during 2005, having to face a life changing decision, a new world opened when she decided to pick up the brushes again. After various art courses and her very first big solo exhibition in 2007, she left for Sedgefield to paint full-time and exhibited at art markets along the Garden Route. During 2009 she opened a training class for art students in Centurion, which included people with disabilities. Various solo and group exhibitions followed while her paintings became more popular. In 2011 Jan & Louise moved to Nelspruit. Now living in the beautiful area of the Lowveld, Louise is a fulltime artist of various topics. Most of the time she will be found in her spacious studio, working on commission work / assignments. She will regularly be seen at markets and Art Festivals of South Africa. Her work can be viewed in the albums of this page. With all the help and support from husband, Jan Henning, they both work together to "push the limits".
